Me.  Lenny Williams. I moved to NYC to study acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse but ended up throwing parties instead. I worked on lots of creative things at Hunter PR for 4 years and finally struck out on my own as a Creative Consultant 14 years ago.

Currently, I am based in the great state of Texas. Houston in fact -- a place with a style all its own. Think 'Art Cars' and Beer Can Houses.  Since I come from a long line of crafty types I learned early on to recycle/repurpose/reuse with a sense of style. Grandma’s old mason jars were not only perfect for her pickled okra & fruit jellies, but for storing buttons, sipping sun tea AND harnassing the magic of fireflies on a summer evening. It is this innate sense of economy that inspires me in my life and in my work.

Since going solo, I've helped coordinate & design events for some of the most creative PR firms in the world -- who happen to represent some of the world's most iconic brands.  Think: Diageo Spirits (Tanqueray, Ketal One, Bailey's, Ciroc, JWB), Gallo Wines (Redwood Creek, Barefoot, Turning Leaf), Wrigleys, Fabreze, Altoids, Pepsi, Tabasco, 3M, Oxiclean, Kraft Foods, Jell-O, HASBRO. I've also been lucky enough to style photo shoots for many of the above, and Betty Crocker, Morningstar Farms, Carlo Rossi, Swanson's, Mrs. T's Pierogies, Oreos and many, many, m-a-n-y others.  Check out my contribution to 'Tease, The Ultimate Guide to Recycling Your Old T-Shirts,' where I got to play alongside design rockstars Patricia Field, Todd Oldham, and Amy Sedaris

In 2002, I became an OM Yoga certified instructor, and soon after founded Mandala House, a non-profit that offers yoga trainings to organizations working with war-affected youth in post-conflict zones.  Over the last 4 years I have conducted trainings with over 225 counselors working in Sri Lanka, Burundi, Uganda and The Democratic Republic of Congo.

This work led me to pivot my focus on social impact and D&I initiatives, primarily through my work at 21st Century Fox. Here, I l was responsible for the national expansion of Impact Week, 21CF’s colleague volunteer program, and oversaw the global launch of Inclusion Week. Even picked up a Shorty Award nomination along the way!

I do my best to balance work with play–currently by tending to my new garden, painting things (all things, any things), baking brownies and then eating them with my husband, while snuggling our crazy rescue dog, Squirrel (SQRL).

be well
